Meet the Speakers

Jon Harris is an author, producer, and cultural commentator. He is host of Conversations That Matter podcast, makes documentaries at Last Stand Studios, and frequently contributes to Truthscript, an online editorial featuring accessible, short form essays to help Christians think through contemporary issues.

Chris LeDuc, former pastor of Canon Beach Bible Church in Oregon, brings a dynamic and thought-provoking perspective to the stage. Now residing in Pennsylvania, Chris engages with believers worldwide through his vlogging series, How Should We Then Think? Prepare to be both challenged and inspired by his unique insights.

Anthony Forsyth, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Burbank, California, is the author of the powerful book Caesar and the Church: A Biblical Study of Government and the Church. As one of the few pastors in the LA area who kept his church open during the 2020 pandemic, Anthony speaks from personal experience about courage, obedience to God, and navigating the complexities of church and state relations.

Joey DeRuntz, Pastor, Master's Bible Church. Joey was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Christ saved him through reading the Bible while incarcerated. His knowledge and hunger for the Word of God grew and it became evident to the leaders in his church that he had the gift of teaching. He married his wife, Christal, in 2012 and was ordained in 2013. Joey graduated from The Master's Seminary in May 2018. In September 2018, he and his family moved to Washington. Joey loves sharing the truth of the gospel with all ages and loves watching the Lord work in the lives of those around him.

Justin Hornbaker, Pastor, Master's Bible Church. Justin was born and raised in Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006 and by God’s Grace was born again while living in South Dakota in his early 20’s. It was there that he met his wife, Tia, and they were married in 2008. Christ gave him a passion for gospel ministry early on and after a few significant trials and some encouragement from his pastor, they moved to Los Angeles in 2017 for Justin to attend The Master’s Seminary. Justin graduated with his Master of Divinity (MDiv.) in May 2021. In November of the same year, he received the call to Pastor at Master’s Bible Church. Justin’s happiness is found in Christ and in serving His people.

Tyler Long, Deacon, Master's Bible Church & Co-host of the Unmasked Podcast. Tyler is the fourth generation of his family in construction and is a local small business owner. In his pre-salvation days, he graduated with a BA of History degree that, post-salvation, he uses to augment his studies of church history. Tyler has been married 24 years to his lovely wife Jenny, and has 3 grown children: Aysha, Janessa, and Trevin. (And Lord willing, by the time of the conference Tyler & Jenny will be able to announce the birth of their first grandchild!)
